DISTRICT NINE BULLETIN BOARD
Attention Post Commanders and Adjutants: The
Spring Convention for District 9 is set for May 7, 2010 at 1 PM at the
Golden Corral, 1096 West Highway 40 in Vernal, Utah. Vernal Post 11 will
host.
Your Post consolidated reports are due. Also
bring your Post Commander activity reports. Your District dues are also due
at this time @ .50 cents per head. Please bring a check or send to Eric
Nelsen at PO box 164, Neola, UT 84053. The District needs the money really
bad. Please get caught up.
Utah Dept. Officers will be there to answer any
questions. Please make every effort to attend. It is your input that makes
the American Legion grow.
Activities for Post Jensen Post 124 for 2010:
Feb. 13 Oratorical competition in SLC @ VAMC
Bldg. 8 @ 1 PM
Feb. 11 Post 124 meeting @ 7 PM in Jensen
Mar. 11 Post 124 meeting @ 7 PM in Jensen
Mar. 20 DEC & Dept. Birthday in Fillmore, Ut.
Post 6 will host.
Jensen Post 124 will cater the following
shooting competitions at the Vernal Rod & Gun Club in Vernal:
May 1st &
2nd We need all of Post 124 members
to help with this catering. Please pick some dates
June 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th
and call Millie, Dorothy and Elaine with info on when you can volunteer.
July 10th,
11th
July 15th, 16th, 17th, and 18th
Sept. 10th, 11, & 12th
Eats at all of these events will be available
from 12 noon until 2 PM.
June 7 thru June 11 Boys State @ Weber State
University in Ogden, UT.
June 25th, 26th & 27th Dept. Convention in St.
George, UT.
Aug. 27 thru Sept. 2 National Convention in
Milwaukee, WI
