    Service Officers will occasionally experience conflicts in scheduling due to unforeseen events and the Federal Dept. of VA scheduled hearings and conferences.

    Also, for the DAV outreach to the VAMC, the service officers check in with Heidi of the DAV transportation program. So if you know of Veterans at the VAMC that need the assistance of a service officer, they can call Heidi at ext 2003, the DAV or the DAV at 326-2375 to set up a meeting place. The service officers are there to help the Vets so they will go to where they are in the hospital. It would also me helpful if we could get that schedule posted some where is the Medical Center so the patients there can see it and know that this service is available.
