            Attached, please find the latest and greatest statistics on our Sons of the American Legion standings. We have a ways to go and I would most appreciate your PERSONAL help in getting us up to speed. I am also attaching a copy of a membership plan that will work for the entire Legion family. Also, please let me know if we have any of the contacts info incorrect, and please have those folks contact me with updated addresses, phone numbers and e-mail addresses.

            I would be remiss if I didn’t remind us all that we are a VOLUNTEER organization, and that we are ALL responsible for ensuring our membership figures are where they are supposed to be. Our next SAL goal is 75% to national HQ NOT LATER THAN February 13^th. As of today (February 6^th) we are still a full 10% from that goal, and it takes Byron a few days to process anything you send him.

            Sooo, lets all get out there and PERSONALLY VISIT our members and share with them how important they are and invite them to “stay the course” by renewing for 2008.
